TTU Baja SAE
Baja SAE is a design competition that challenges students to work as a team in the designing, building, testing and racing of an off-road vehicle that is capable of negotiating rough terrain.
The Cars
The team currently has 5 vehicle chassis in the shop from 2006-2010. The cars are in various states of assembly, but at any time the teams tries to maintain 3 running vehicles.
Between the 5 cars in the shop there are 7 top 10 performances including a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and two 9th place overall finishes.
